"Orissa State Water & Sanitation Mission" (OSWSM) referred as "State Mission" has been constituted and established in R.D. Department resolution No.9990 dt.5.7.2002 and registered itself under Society Registration Act 1860 on 14.8.2002 for providing overall policy guidance for community led and participatory WATSAN projects.
The area of operation of the society shall extend to the whole of Orissa State.
